​Thom Greco is a distinguished entrepreneur and industry leader with a diverse background in the fields of hospitality, entertainment, and business. He was born on March 20, 1957, and raised in Drums, PA, a farming community near Hazleton, to Dr. and Mrs. Victor F. Greco.

​Thom’s father, Dr. Victor Greco, made significant contributions to medical science, having played a key role in the development of the heart-lung machine and participated in the first-ever open-heart surgery at Jefferson Medical School.

Thom’s educational journey began at MMI Preparatory School, and he later graduated from the University of Scranton. Subsequently, he pursued studies at the prestigious Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and Nova Law School.

​Additionally, Thom Greco honed his culinary skills at the renowned Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Hyde Park, New York.

Thom started in the hospitality/entertainment business at age 17 (1976) by running under 21 dance clubs in Wilkes-Barre, Williamsport, and Hazleton including the legendary “Vox Box”. He created and hosted a television show, the “Thom Greco Show,” on ABC WNEP TV 16 in 1980. Attended law school and later returned to Pennsylvania to continue in various business ventures. Developed real estate from the age of 23.

In 1980, Thom Greco earned a baccalaureate degree with a double major in biology and chemistry from the University of Scranton. His insatiable appetite for business and hospitality led him to explore the restaurant, hotel, and concert promotion sectors.

​Over time, he achieved notable successes, including the construction and operation of the Bud Light Amphitheatre in Harvey’s Lake, PA, and the Montage Performing Arts Center in Scranton, PA.

​Thom also ventured into radio station ownership and signed a record label deal with music mogul Tommy Mattola, resulting in a top-charting rock artist on Billboard.

​With an ever-expanding portfolio, Thom Greco has owned and managed over 17 nightclubs and bars, including the celebrated Martini Ristorante & Bar, credited with creating the famous Marilyn Monroe Martini. Presently, he operates HEAT Nightclub and Bar, The Mines and provides industry consultation services.

​For over a decade, Thom has chaired this prominent board, overseeing leading hospitality industry companies in the United States, with renowned personalities like Jon Taffer of Bar Rescue as fellow board members.
